Less than 5% of dentists in the United States are prosthodontists. Prosthodontics is a specialty in the field of dentistry that focuses on the replacement and repair of damaged or missing teeth, requiring an extensive 3 year program – training in resolving complex cases of tooth restoration with crowns, bridges, dentures and dental implants. Dr. Yosvany Vento has always had the desire to help others; this desire led him to the practice of dentistry. After graduating with a Doctor in Dental Surgery Degree (DDS), Dr. Vento continued his education in the field of Prosthodontics – a 4 year advanced specialty training dedicated to aesthetic, reconstructive, and surgical placement of dental implants at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. Dr. Vento became a Clinical Assistant Professor. Dr. Vento has been practicing for 15 years. Seeing his patients receive the smile they deserve motivates him. Dr. Vento is a member of the Academy Of Osseointegration, American Academy Of Implant Dentistry, Academy of Prosthodontics, and the Florida Dental Association. Dr. Vento is married, animal lover.. During his free time, Dr. Vento enjoys music, traveling, fishing and computer technology.
